<br />FPR 96-431 <br /> <br />COLORADO WATER CONSERV A nON BOARD <br />721 State Centennial Building <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />July 8, 1996 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, completed a floodplain information <br />report entitled "Flood Plain Information Report, Cache la Poudre River, Colorado, Volume 1, Fort Collins, <br />Larimer County", dated October, 1973; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for the Cache la Poudre River; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water ConserVation Board, as requested by the City of Fort Collins and <br />Larimer County, by Resolution No. 29, adopted on March 20, 1974, designated and approved the detailed <br />floodplain information included in said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, completed a floodplain information <br />report entitled "Flood Plain Information Report, Cache la Poudre River, Colorado, Volume 3, Fort Collins <br />- Greeley, Larimer - Weld County", dated October, 1975; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for the Cache la Poudre River; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Larimer and Weld Counties, by <br />Resolution No. 53, adopted on March 17, 1976, designated and approved the detailed floodplain <br />information included in said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Gingery Associates, Inc., under contract to the Federal Insurance Administration, <br />completed a floodplain information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Larimer County, Colorado, <br />Unincorporated Areas", dated September 1978; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for the Cache la Poudre River and <br />Dry Creek, for the reach of Boxelder Creek near the Town of Wellington and for other streams and <br />approximate floodplain information for other reaches of Box elder Creek and for other streams; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Larimer County, by Resolution <br />No. 128, adopted on January 31, 1979, designated and approved the detailed floodplain information <br />included in said report for Dry Creek, for the reach of Boxelder Creek near the Town of Wellington and <br />for other streams, but did not specifically designate and approve the detailed floodplain information for the <br />Cache la Poudre River; and <br />
