<br />FPR 94-359 <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br />721 State Centennial Building <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />May 26, 1994 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Camp, Dresser & McKee, Inc., under contract to the U.S. Department of Housing <br />and Urban Development, completed a floodplain information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, <br />Town of Pagosa Springs and Unincorporated Areas of Archuleta County, Colorado" dated July 1978; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report includes floodplain information for the San Juan River, McCabe Creek, <br />and North McCabe Creek both in the corporate limits ofPagosa Springs and outside the corporate limits <br />in unincorporated Archuleta County as well liS floodplain information for other streams in <br />unincorporated Archuleta County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Archuleta County, by <br />Resolution No. 120, adopted on November I, 1978. approved and designated the floodplains described <br />in said report; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, under contract to the Federal <br />Emergency Management Agency, revised the floodplain information contained within Resolution No. <br />120 for the stream reaches within the corporate limits of Pagosa Springs only and completed a <br />floodplain information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Town of Pagosa Springs and <br />Unincorporated Areas of Archuleta County, Colorlldo" dated May 2, 1991; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservlltion Board, as requested by the Town of Pagosa <br />Springs, by Resolution Nos. 92-324 and 94-358, adopted on July 8, 1992, and May 26, 1994 <br />respectively, approved and designated the floodplains described in said revised report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution Nos. 92-324 and 94-358 rescinded the detailed floodplain information <br />in Resolution No. 120 for the stream reaches described in Table I, attached hereto and by this reference <br />incorporated herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the U.S. Soil Conservation Service completed a floodplain information report <br />entitled "Flood Hazard Analyses, San Juan River and McCabe Creek in the Vicinity of Pagosa Springs, <br />Archuleta County, Colorado," dated September 1977; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the detailed information in sllid report dated September 1977 for those stream <br />reaches listed in Table 2, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, is inconsistent with <br />FPR 92-324 or FPR 94-358; and <br />
