Coal Creek and Rock <br />Boulder and Weld Counties. Colorado." in October 1976; and <br /> <br />Soil <br />report <br />Creek. <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the Colorado <br />requested by Boulder County. <br />and Flood Control District. <br />January 19, 1977. approved <br />described in said report; and <br /> <br />Water Conservation Board, as <br />Weld County, and the Urban Drainage <br />bY' Resolution No. 66. adopted on <br />and designated the floodplains <br /> <br />WHEREAS. Water Resources Consultants. Inc.. completed a <br />floodplain information report ~ntitled "Floodplain Information, <br />Flood Control and Floodplain Mclnagement Plan for Coal Creek at <br />Erie. Colorado," in August. 1980; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado WateL Conservation Board. as requested <br />by the Town of Erie. Boulder County. and Weld County, by <br />Resolution No. 174. adopted on February 11. 1981. rescinded the <br />floodplain information in the floodplain report previously <br />designated by Resolution No. 66 on January 19, 1977, for that <br />portion of Coal Creek from its confluence with Boulder Creek <br />upstream to a point 3700 feet: upstream of Perry Street, and <br />approved and designated in its place the floodplain information <br />described in the August. 1980. report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. a new report entit:led "Flood Insurance Study. Weld <br />County. Colorado. Unincorporated Areas, and Town of Eaton. <br />Colorado. Weld County." dated September 28. 1990. has been <br />prepared by the Federal EmergencY Management Agency; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. said new report includes detailed floodplain <br />informa t ion for Coa I Creek wi thin the unincorpora ted ter r i tory <br />of Weld County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. that portion of eaid new report relating to the <br />reach of Coal Creek from the Upion Pacific Railroad upstream to <br />a point 3700 feet upstream of Perry Street is consistent with <br />the f loodpla in report previously des igna ted by Reso lut ion No. <br />174 on February 11. 1981; and <br /> <br />3713E* <br />
