September 15. 1992 <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Call to Order (9:29 . 9:36 a.m.) <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Colorado Water Conservation Board was held in the <br />Columbine/BookcliffRoom at the Grand Junction Hilton, 743 Horizon Drive, Grand <br />Junction, Colorado, on Tuesday, September 15, 1992. The meeting was called to <br />order at 9:29 a.m. by Chairman Martineau. Seven of the ten voting members were <br />present so there was a quorum (at least six are required). Present were Salazar, <br />Harrison, Smith, Martineau, Lochhead, Eisel, Meyring, Simpson, and U1e. Jennifer <br />Gimbel represented Gale Norton, AG, and Grady McNeill represented Perry Olson, <br />DOW. Jackson, Sheftel, and Wright were absent. Chairman Martineau <br />acknowledged Sell. Tilman Bishop who welcomed the Board to Grand Junction. <br />Salazar thanked Sell. Bishop for his support, and Martineau welcomed Chuck Ule <br />as the new director of the ewCB. <br /> <br />1 A complete record of the public session part of the meeting has been made <br />on audio cassette tapes. The tapes and the associated staff memoranda are the <br />only legai record of,the meeting. These written summaries are intended only as <br />an aid to research and a guide to the tapes. The motiohs presented herein may <br />not necessarily represent a verbatiltl transcript. Numbered agenda items are <br />presented chronologically in the order that they were actually considered by the <br />Board. <br /> <br />The tapes, recorded at very slow speed (1.2 em/see) on a Sony BM-146 co~rt <br />recorder, are available for listening at the eweB during regular office hours. <br />Arrangements to make copies of the tapes or written transcripts of specific <br />agenda items may be made at the requestor's expense. <br /> <br />Tape 1 covered the public session from 9:29 a.m. to 12:32 p.m. Tuesday. <br />Tape 2 covered the public session from 12:32 to 5:36 p.m. Tuesday. Tape 3 <br />covered the public session from 5:39 to 7:45 p.m. Tuesday. Tape 4 covered the <br />public session from 11:23 a.m. to 3:38 p.m. Wednesday.
