Approval of Agenda*2 (9;36 - 9:42 a.m.) <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />Chairman Martineau reviewed proposed changes to the published agenda. <br />Co=ents were made by Harrison, Lile, Martineau, and Salazar. A motion was <br />made by Harrison and simultaneously seconded by Smith and Eisel to accept the <br />agenda as revised. The motion passed by unanimous (7-0) decision. <br /> <br />3. Approval of Minutes May, July, August (9:42 -9:50 a.m.) <br /> <br />Chairman Martineau asked for co=ents on the draft minutes. Corrections were <br />noted by Harrison, Gimbel, Martineau, and Smith. Dan Merriman, CWCB staff, <br />distributed proposed written correction to item 5b of the August minutes. A motion <br />was made by Harrison and seconded by Smith to approve the May, July, and August <br />minutes subject to the corrections that have been noted on the record. The motion <br />passed by unanimous (7-0) decision. <br /> <br />4a. Directors' Reports, CWCB (9:50 -9:54 a.m.) <br /> <br />Chuck Lile, CWCB Director, thanked the Board and staff for their support, and a <br />question was asked by Harrison. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />4b. Directors' Reports, Department of Natural Resources (9:54 -10:03 a.m.) <br /> <br />Ken Salazar reported on four matters. First he thanked the Board for their <br />involvement in the selection process for the new CWCB Director and State Engineer. <br />Second, he reviewed a study commi~sioned by DNR in cooperation with the CWeB <br />and the Division of Water Resources. The study, prepared by Hydrosphere, reviewed <br />options for future water development by Front Range co=unities. A subcommittee <br />was formed by Eisel, Harrison, Lile, and Simpson to consider the next step in <br />determining the Board's role in this areD.;!.. Third, Salazar reviewed water quality <br />. issues and the schedule associated with proposed HE 1200. Finally, he discussed the <br />audit of the CWCB to be conducted by the Legislative Audit Committee scheduled <br />for completion by the end of December. Additional co=ents were made by <br />Chairman Martineau and Frank Akers, CWCB staff. <br /> <br />4c. . Directors' Reports, State Engineer (10:03 - 10:13 a.m.) <br /> <br />Hal Simpson, State Engineer. also thanked the Board for their support.
