Qe(iluty Director <br />A regular meetmg of the Colorado Water ConservatIOn Board was hela at <br />The Holiday Inn Express - Cortez Conference Center, 2121 East Main <br />Street, Cortez, Colorado 81321 at 10:10 a.m. on September 24, 2001. The <br />meeting was called to order by Chairman Harold Miske!. Eight voting <br />members were present at the call to order so a quorum was present (at least <br />six required). Board members present on this date were Greg Hoskin, Bob <br />Burr, Carolyn McIntosh, Harold Miskel, Donald Schwindt, David Smith, <br />Keith Catlin, Eric Wilkinson, Bruce McCloskey (representing the Division <br />of Wildlife) Felicity Hannay (representing the Attorney General Ken <br />Salazar and counsel to the Board, with AG staff Linda Bassi also present), <br />State Engineer Hal Simpson and Rod Kuharich. <br /> <br />Monday, September 24,2001 <br />Call to Order <br /> <br />Note: While Board's consideration of agenda items doesn't always follow the sequence <br />indicated by the agenda numbers, these minutes are listed in agenda item order for easier <br />reference. <br /> <br />At the beginning of the meeting, Chairman Miskel presented remarks on the recent national <br />tragedy and requested a moment of silence. <br /> <br />1. Review and Approval of Agenda <br />Tape 1, Start/Stop: 0108 - 0160 <br />Action: The changes to the agenda were noted, and the revised agenda was <br />accepted as presented. (No formal action taken). <br /> <br />2a. Introduce and Administer Oath to New Members <br />Tape I, Start/Stop: 0160 - 0203 <br />Action: Chairman Harold Miskel administered the Oath to new member Carolyn <br />McIntosh. <br /> <br />I A complete record of the meeting has been made on audio cassette tapes. The tapes and the associated written materials are the only legal record of <br />the meeting. These written summaries are intended only as an aid to research and a guide to the tapes. The motions described herein may not <br />represent a verbatim transcription. Agenda items are presented in numerical order, according to the Agenda for the meeting. Members recusing themselves are identified.
