Participants who attended the workshop heard or received written requests and/or <br />comments for instream flow water right protection from the Division of Wildlife (DOW), Division of <br />Parks and Outdoor Recreation (DPOR), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), United States Forest <br />Service (USFS) and other interested persons. The intent of the workshop was to give the staff and <br />Board direction on how it should prioritize future instream flow and natural lake appropriations. <br /> <br />2005 Instream Flow Appropriation Recommendations <br /> <br />The Colorado Water Conservation Board staff is considering Instream Flow and Natural Lake Level <br />appropriations on the following streams in 2005: <br /> <br />Water Division 4 <br /> <br />Stream <br />Comet Creek <br />San Miguel River (enlargement) <br />Bear Creek ( enlargement) <br />South Fork San Miguel River (enlargement) <br />Cottonwood Creek <br />Horsefly Creek <br />Anthracite Creek <br />Muddy Creek (tributary to Paonia Reservoir) <br />North Fork of Smith Fork River <br />South Fork of Smith Fork River <br /> <br />Countv <br />San Miguel <br />San Miguel <br />San Miguel <br />San Miguel <br />Montrose <br />Montrose <br />Gunnison <br />Gunnison <br />Gunnison <br />Gunnison <br /> <br />Flood Protection.
