The CDOW recommendations are based on their fishery resources, some of which
contain cutthroat trout species.

2006 Workshop and Work Plan

Staff is currently in the process of updating the instream Flow and Natural Lake Work Plan and will
hold a workshop in February 2005 to discuss future instream flow appropriations as well as possible
changes to the Work Plan process. This workshop is an opportunity for any person, agency or
organization to recommend streams and/or natural lakes to the CWCB to be included in the instream
Flow and Natural Lake Program and placed on the CWCB's annual Work Plan. The Work Plan is
important in that it lists the streams and/or natural lakes that staff will consider for appropriation in
future years. Any party who would like the CWCB to consider a stream or natural lake for protection in
2006 should contact Board staff prior to January 31, 2005. All parties on the ISF Subscription Mailing
list will be notified of this planned workshop. Parties interested in participating in this workshop should
contact Todd Doherty by phone at (303) 866-3945 or by email attodd.doherty@state.co.us.

.

Flood Protection.
