ITINERARY FOR APu E L UNIT TOUR <br />May 14, 1970 <br />I. Representatives from the Colorado Grater Conservation Board, <br />the Colorado Game, Fish and Parks Department, and the Bureau <br />of Reclamation's Region 7 Office will leave Stapleton Inter- <br />national Airport in Denver, Colorado, at $:00 a.m. MDT, via <br />Bureau of Reclamation Aircraft N -613, arriving at Bonny Dam <br />at 9 :00 a.m. MDT. <br />II. Representatives from the Bureau of Reclamation's Kansas River <br />Projects Office will leave :McCook, Nebraska, at 7 :30 a.m. CDT, <br />via Government auto, arrivinb at Bonny Dam at 9:00 a.m. MDT. <br />III. Representatives of the Armel I,:ri.gation Project Steering -Com- <br />mittee and the Yuma County Agent .•.ill arrive at Bonny Dam at <br />9:00 a.m. ;':DT.. <br />IV. All representatives will tour the reservoir area as a group, <br />stopping for an early lunch at the bonny Reservoir concession <br />at 11:30 a.m. MDT. <br />V. After lunch, the group will tour down the river valley, viewing <br />the Hale Ditch irrigation area, cross the river and travel <br />northward past the proposed Armel Pumping Plant site, into <br />the Armel Unit Project lands area, and hold a swpmary meeting <br />at a location to be determined by the Arm-el Irrigation Project <br />Steering Con - a i.ttee, around 2:00 p.m. MDT. <br />VI. After the summary meeting, the representation from Denver will <br />depart from Bonny Dam via Bureau of Reclamation Aircraft N -613 <br />for Denver. <br />
