Fu=an, Economist <br />R. G. Wilson, Area Conservationist, <br />Thatcher Stinson, V-ork Unit Conservationist, and <br />G. E. McCrimmon, Soil Conservationist, State Program Staff <br />Forest Service: <br />Jack J. McILatt, Regional Office, Denver, Colorado, and <br />Robert L. Dunstan, Colorado Springs, Colorado <br />(present on April 28, 1955 only). <br />As a general statement the party believes the original application to be <br />well prepared and that the party can add little to the application except <br />corroboration of facts stated and opinions given.. <br />1. Watershed CharacteristiU <br />The original application describes the area quite well. The party <br />estimates land use within the proposed boundaries as follows: <br />Irrigated 7,500 Acres <br />Sub Irrigated Meadows 4,000 <br />Dry Crop Land 32 " <br />Range Lands 20?_ 00 <br />Total 246,400 10 <br />Included in this total acreage figure is about 21,000 acres of wooded and <br />forested land according to the Cherry Creek Flood Control Survey Report of <br />1941.
