RGDSS Memorandum <br />Final <br />TO: Ray Bennett <br />FROM: Ed Armbruster, Hydrosphere <br />SUBJECT: RGDSS Surface Water, Task 6.8 -Prepare Reservoir Files <br />DATE: September 7, 1999 <br />CC: Randy Seaholm <br />Introduction <br />This memorandum represents delivery associated with Task 6.8, Prepare Reservoir Files / <br />Memoranda. The objective ofthis task is as follows: <br />Develop and operate a command file for the DMI watright that generates the reservoir <br />station and reservoir right files for the Rio Grande model. Develop and operate a <br />command file for the DMI tstool that generates historic end-of-month content file and <br />historic reservoir targetfile. <br />Reservoirs Explicitly Modeled <br />Thirteen (13) reservoirs are explicitly included in the Rio Grande Surface Water Model. This <br />includes twelve (12) reservoirs within Colorado and one (1) in New Mexico (Costilla Reservoir). <br />The reservoirs explicitly represented are generally those having cumulative decreed rights for <br />greater than 5,000 of (Table 1).
