Walcher <br />Executive Director <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />Rod Kuharich <br />CWCB Director <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />File <br /> <br />Mike Serlet, P.E., Chief ~/ r <br />Water Supply Planning and'~nce Section <br /> <br />Dan McAuliffe <br />Deputy Director <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />DATE: October 30, 2003 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Hyannis Reservoir Company <br />Feasibility Study Loan <br />Contract #C153372, dated December 1, 1981 <br /> <br />I spoke with Mark Haynes of the State Engineers Office of Dam Safety, who administers the listing <br />of all jurisdictional dams in the State, to determine that the Hyannis Peak Dam is not on the list of <br />existing structures. <br /> <br />I also spoke with Donna Taylor of Rocky Mountain Consultants, Inc. of Longmont, who completed <br />the original feasibility study that the CWCB financed, and determined that no further work was <br />completed on the project by the Hyannis Reservoir Company. <br /> <br />As of this date, the project to construct the Hyannis Peak dam by the Hyannis Reservoir Company <br />has not been completed, nor has any work beyond the completion of the project feasibility been <br />completed. <br /> <br />Therefore, the feasibility study contract #C153372 is closed and repayment will not be required <br />since the project has not been constructed during the initial 10 year period after the date of the <br />contract. <br /> <br />cc: Steve Biondo, Section B Accountant <br /> <br />Flood Protection.
