It is our understanding these <br />funds will be used to help pay for the cost of conducting the Jefferson County Mountain Ground <br />Water Resource Study. I have attached a copy of the updated Board memo concerning Jefferson <br />County. Please refer to page 2 of that memo and to the section "Action Taken by the CWCB, <br />November 24, 1997". <br /> <br />These grant funds will become available July 1, 1998, and must be utilized prior to July 1, 1999. <br /> <br />An approved contract must be in place before funds can be advanced. Jan Illian (866-3441) will <br />contact you concerning our contracting procedure.
