Mike Wireman <br /> <br />~ Goals, overview, needs <br /> <br />· Big Science: Study the water <br />· Scientific basis for making land management decisions. The end product will be <br />a tool that Planning Commission and Board of County Commissioners can use to <br />make land use decisions. <br /> <br />~ Completion of Phase I <br /> <br />· Read the draft and we will discuss it at the next meeting. Please note that this <br />report is in draft format. The USGS is concerned about the premature release of <br />the findings. Standard peer review protocol has not been completed yet. This <br />draft should not be formally cited. <br /> <br />~ Products from Phase II <br /> <br />· Final USGS report <br />· Map for Jeffco use <br /> <br />~ Proposed scope of Phase II <br /> <br />· Read the proposal and we will discuss the proposed elements and timing at the <br />next meeting. <br /> <br />2. Janet Heiny <br /> <br />~ USGS will get collected data into central database that Jeffco can put on website. <br /> <br />~ The general public or Home Owner Associations can begin to set up their own studies. <br />There are basic data that they can begin collecting. The runoff variable must be <br />customized to transfer model to other basins.
