The first four studies (1. 2..2A and 3) follmT

the basic propositio~s exactly. Difrerence in results grov,s out or vary-

ing lL~tations placed. on the amounts diverted by the ditches in District

,
67. and dirferent initial capacities ror the reservoir

sc.a1il~.ZT~'f;i ve.s '~h~,~I.dst9riOiiI~a.t~~~.....~h the river for the
period used in the studies.(1925-1941).

Table II shows the results when a fairly tight limitation ~s
placed on the District 67 ditohes.

Studies summarized in Tables III and IV allo~~d a more liberal

limitation en the diversions. Study 2A (Table IV) dirrers from study 2

only in that initial capacities vary. as explained in a follo, nng para-

graph.

Values as shown in Table V (StUdy 3) can be -expected if practi-

cally no limitation is placed on District 67 diversions. It vms assUmed

here. that those ditches would divert near ~:L~um amounts when storage

releases.were made. resardless of the resulting efrect on the lands and

the practical linitation or need.
The fifth and sixth studies (Table VI and Table VII) indicate

the result if_ the major proposition. whereby Kansas receives amounts of

divertible and usable vmter at the Stateline. during reservoir releases.
