Replacement Storage on Will:l.ams Fork River <br /> <br /> <br />1. A study baaed on the conditions and ass1ll1lptions 01' <br /> <br /> <br />pat'agraphs 2 and :3 below shows that a reservoir on the Williams R1ver, <br /> <br /> <br />with a capacity 01' 93,600 acre teet, at the site 01' the present <br /> <br /> <br />Willi~ Fori< Reservoir would provide an average 01' 45,000 acre feet <br /> <br /> <br />of replacament storage for Denver diversions from the Fraser, WilliaInS <br /> <br /> <br />and Blue R1vers for the period 1934-1954 inclusive, and that shortages <br /> <br />01' replacement storage would occur in II 01'. the 21 years studied. <br /> <br />2. In arriving at the above conclusion the following con- <br /> <br />ditions were considered in evaluatillg the effect 01' certain planned <br /> <br />and existing projects: <br /> <br />I Existillg tranemountain diversions. <br /> <br />n Local historic uses on the river and its tributaries. <br /> <br />III All units of the Colorado-Big Thompson project oper- <br />ating at their potential development. <br /> <br />IV Denver1s-Fraser River collection system operating at <br />potential development. . <br /> <br />V Proposed Englewood-Fraser collection system operating <br />at potential development. <br /> <br />VI Demerls-Williams River collection system operating <br />at potential development, including extensions to the <br />present system. <br /> <br />VII Transl110untain diversion of' the Blue River above Dillon. <br />
