<br />-. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />r. <br /> <br />Part 3 _ Diversion Data (Contd) <br /> <br />The 84,400 AF historically diverted by ditches between the <br /> <br /> <br />Stateline and Garden City in Kansas (Table 14) is equivalent to 53.0 <br /> <br /> <br />percent of the 159,100 AF diverted in Colorado Water District 67 (Table 12). <br /> <br /> <br />and to 34.7 percent of the total (243,500 AF) diverted downstream fram <br /> <br /> <br />Caddoa in both States, and is equivalent to 9.8 percent of the total <br /> <br /> <br />(857,200 AF_Tabl~ 13) diverted in Colorado, and to 9.0 percent of the total <br /> <br /> <br />(941,600 AF) diverted in both States. <br /> <br /> <br />Summary Table F showe the quantitiee of water diverted during each <br /> <br /> <br />water_year of the historio 1908~1942 period, summarized by distriote and <br /> <br /> <br />ditoh groupe from Table& 11_n4, and shows the combined total mversions in <br /> <br /> <br />both States eaoh year, together with percents of the period average to . <br /> <br /> <br />indicate the character of each year, whether above or below average, with <br /> <br /> <br />respect to water supplies of the Arkansas River usable for irrigation prio~ <br /> <br /> <br />to the commencement of storage operations at John Martin Reservoir. <br /> <br /> <br />Summary Table G shows the peroents in which the diverted supplies <br /> <br /> <br />were divided each year of the historio 1906-1942 period between the several <br /> <br /> <br />distriots and the two States. Diversions by ditches in Colorado Water <br /> <br /> <br />Districts 14 and 17 above Caddoa varisd.from 67.8 peroent to 52.1 percent <br /> <br /> <br />and averaged 74.1 percent of the total diversions in both States. Diversions <br /> <br /> <br />by ditches in Colorado Water District 67 below Caddoa varied from 12.0 to <br /> <br /> <br />21.2 and averaged 16.9 percent of the total diversions in both States. <br /> <br /> <br />Diversions by ditches in Colorado Water Distriots 14, 17 and 67 varied from <br /> <br /> <br />86.3 to 95.8 and averaged 91.0 peroent of the total diversions in both States. <br /> <br /> <br />Diversions by ditohes between the State line. and Garden City in Kansas varied <br /> <br /> <br />from 4.2 to 13.7 and averaged 9.0 percent of the total diversions in both States. <br /> <br /> <br />Diversion quantities in 1000 AF units, and district and state diversion <br /> <br /> <br />relations in peroents, under the maximum, minimum and average annual water-supply <br /> <br /> <br />conditions of the historic 1908~1942 period, were as followsl <br /> <br /> <br />_l~ <br />
