Kansas_Stateline to Garden City, with sub-group
segregations l4-A above Syracuse end 14-D below
Syracuse.

Diversion quantities assembled in the above Tables are, with

the exceptions stated therein, the totals as reoorded for the ditches named.

The totals include the return flows resulting. from upstream diversions whio&

were made by the several groups of ditches for direct irrigation and storage

purposes. These assembled. diversion data are summarhe& in Tables E, F and.

G, to facilitate explanation and discussion.

Summary Table E brings together the data concerning t~e quantitiee

of water diverted in each district and by each group of ditches in the

average month, season and water_year of the historio period. Diversion

quantities are shown in 1000 AF units, and are expressed as percents of

ennua~ average diversion quantities. Fro~ summary Table E it is apparent,

spsaking generally, that monthly distributione of average annual totals were

similar and substantially ths same in each of the several districts, and that

in each the quantitie~ diverted in winter:monthe Oc~obe~ to Ma~ch averaged

about 30 percent, and in summer monthe April to September averaged about 70

percen~ of the ennuel totals.

..17,.
