The Colorado Division of wildlife should make applica- <br /> <br />tion in the water court for decrees of 15.83 cfs with a priority <br /> <br />date of December 3, 1884 and 6.19 cfs with a priority date of <br /> <br />November 14. 1887 that allow storage in John Martin reservoir. <br /> <br />These decrees should be provisioned so that storage can occur <br /> <br />only during the irrigation season (April through October). and <br /> <br />the total amount stored cannot exceed 4,808 acre-feet during any <br /> <br />one irrigation season. <br /> <br />2. The water court should reduce the Catlin Canal Company's <br /> <br />direct flow decrees for diversion from the Arkansas river from <br /> <br />248 cfs to 225.70 cfs with a priority .date of December 3, 1884 <br /> <br />and from 97 cfs to 88.28 cfs with a priority date of November 14, <br /> <br />1887. <br /> <br />3. When the Catlin canal Company obtains supplemental water <br /> <br />from purchase, transmountain diversion, or release from Mt. Pisgah <br /> <br />reservoir, the state should acquire 11.24 percent of the water at <br /> <br />the source. This amount will be reduced by the transmission <br /> <br />losses in delivery to Johil-Mart.in -re-servoir-;---- <br /> <br />8 <br />
