,\
J

,

Page two
Governor Lamm
October 5, 1977

.

.

"

- .<"'^-~

I have personally known Mr. Idler, and have met some of his
family, and they are very highly regarded in the ~rea. Mr.
Idler also enjoys an excellent reputation in the farming and
irrigation industries, as well as being a person of very high
integrity. He is also known as a person who thinks of the
future, as well as the present. He has a very broad perspective
in water matters, and is intimately acquainted with the complexities
relating to the Arkansas River Comp~ct Administration.

It would be in the State of Colorado interest, as well as the
interest of the Arkansas River Valley, to have Leo Idler serve
on the Arkansas River Compact Administration from District 67.

Very truly yours,

~~~
Secretary
JHS: ig
