INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />A, Overview <br />As originally designed, the Metropolitan Water Supply Investigation Project (the <br />Project) consists of four study phases: I) scoping to more specifically defrne study <br />areas and objectives; II) information development to learn more about each of the <br />study areas in order to more specifically defrne options; ill) development of <br />analytical tools and analysis of options; and IV) formulation and evaluation of <br />conceptual design plans. <br /> <br />This Plan of Study (POS) concludes the scoping phase (phase I) of the Project and is <br />based upon extensive deliberations of the Technical Advisory Committee (T AC) and <br />its work groups, The services which Hydrosphere Resource Consultants, Inc. <br />(Hydrosphere) and its subcontractors will provide to the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board (the Board) in carrying out Phase II of the Project are described <br />in this document. <br /> <br />The attached schematic is a flow chart depicting the four Project phases and the <br />relationships between the various componl;nts of this POS. <br /> <br />To assist in providing the services described in this POS, Hydrosphere has <br />assembled a Consulting Team which consists of the following subcontractors: <br /> <br />HRS Water Consultants, Inc. <br />Spronk Water Engineers, Inc. <br />Mulhern MRE, Inc. <br />ECI, Inc. <br /> <br />This POS describes the responsibilities of the Consulting Team, the T AC, and <br />others in completing this phase of the project. It includes a description of the tasks <br />to be completed for each study category, the administrative framework for <br />coordinating and managing the study, the individuals responsible for managing the <br />tasks to be completed, a schedule for completion of Phase II and an estimate of the <br />costs associated with each task. <br />
