Sub-Task 4j: Chatfield Reservoir Analysis <br /> <br />a) Purpose <br />Compile information from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board regarding the availability of storage in <br />Chatfield Reservoir. Identify the procedural steps for making that storage <br />available to metro area water users and the associated issues including legal <br />questions, environmental and recreational impacts, and costs. <br /> <br />bJ Approach <br />Meet with Colorado Water Conservation Board staff and COE officials to <br />obtain available information regarding the availability of storage space in the <br />reservoir, operational issues and constraints, economic issues, etc. <br /> <br />Compile and review existing studies, agreements and water rights information. <br /> <br />Interview individuals responsible for management of recreational facilities and <br />others as necessary to identify recreational and environmental issues. <br /> <br />c) Output <br />A task memorandum summarizing available information and finding and <br />identifying steps required for making Chatfield storage available to metro area <br />water suppliers, <br /> <br />d) Sub-Task Leader: Robert Weaver <br /> <br />11.
