Here are <br /> <br />found numerous picnic grounds as well as Lake Isabel Recreation Area, <br /> <br />where facilities for picnicking, bathing, fishing, boating and skat- <br /> <br />ing are to be found. A ski area used by hundreds of winter sports <br /> <br />enthusiasts is also located in this_recreation area. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Average daily vehicle use in the vicinity of the sites, <br /> <br />recorded on the 1946 Traffic Density' Map,Colorado, follows: <br /> <br />At the Graneros site (upper end) 1,62S, on <br />U. S. highways 85 and 87, at Greenhorn, Colorado, <br /> <br />At the Pueblo site, 325 on state highway 96. <br /> <br />The Ben Butler and Cedarwood sites are not located near highways <br /> <br />on which traffic counts are available. <br /> <br />The resident PQPulation of the region within a 25-mile <br /> <br />radius of the combined areas, according to 1940 census, is approxi- <br /> <br />mately 71,000 of which 52,162 are residents of the city Dr rueblo. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />42 <br /> <br />'. <br />
