<br />water rights. The cash went to John L. Samples.

<br />books, often consisting of the initials "J.L.S." or "F.L.G." We
<br />were told by Cecil Osborne that these initials stood for "John L.
<br />Samples" and "Frank L. Gill" and indicated to whom the cash or
<br />the warrant for cash had been delivered).
