<br />Bunkerville - An area of 875 acres in Nevada is served by the <br />Bunkerville Irrigation Company (see Figure 9). There are approximately <br />1,025 shares of stock outstanding. The company has rights to 39 percent <br />of the river flow at the site of the existing Bunkerville diversion <br />structure. <br /> <br />The supply ditch is approximately 29,000 feet (5.5 miles) in length <br />and delivers about 20 cfs of water. About 15,150 feet is lined with <br />concrete. The diversion structure requires extensive repairs after large <br />flood flows. <br /> <br />The 48 shareholders are each responsible for maintenance of approxi- <br />mately 32 feet of the ditch per share of stock held.
