The ~at~r Supply Act of 1958 was in effect when <br />the fryingpan-Arkansas Project was authorized. <br /> <br />2. The leglslative history of tile project shows that <br />the Water Supply Act was considered a~ a way to <br />payoff M. & I. costs for the west slope <br />in.terests. <br /> <br />8 <br />
