<br />ACKIIOlfLBDGBfIBIIl'l'S <br /> <br />In the conduct of the Cache la Poudre Project Study and the preparation of <br />this report, Tudor Engineering Company wishes to acknowledge the assistance <br />and input received from many sources. These include, but are not limited to: <br /> <br />The staff of the Colorado Water Conservation Board for their guidance in <br />scoping the study, their assistance in establishing guidelines and cri- <br />teria to be used, their review of various analyses during the two phases <br />of the study, their assistance in seek~ng out sources of data pertinent to <br />the study, their arranging meetings and conferences with affected and <br />interested individuals and organizations and their assistance in preparing <br />the interim and final reports. <br /> <br />The Advisory Committee for their useful input in helping to establish <br />guidelines and criteria, their review of the results of the analyses, and <br />their assistance in selecting alternative projects for evaluation in each <br />phase of the study. A list of the members of the Advisory Committee is <br />included on the following page. <br /> <br />The various publics for voicing op1n1ons and concerns at public meetings, <br />thereby providing valuable input regarding overall scope of the study and <br />selection of alternative projects for study. <br /> <br />The office of the State Engineer; and, in particular, the Water Com- <br />missioner of former Water District 3; 'for assistance in providing data on <br />water rights and historic flows and an insight into the operation of the <br />complex water supply system in the Cache la Poudre basin. <br /> <br />Several Federal agencies, including the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, U.S. <br />Geological Survey and the U.S. Forest Service, for providing information <br />on previous studies related to the development of water resources of the <br />Cache la Poudre River. <br /> <br />The various water users organizations, both municipal and agricultural, <br />for discussion and insight into the present and projected water use in the <br />Cache la Podure Basin and the potential economic effects associated with <br />that water use. <br /> <br />The Colorado Public Utilities Commission, Public Service Company of <br />Colorado, Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association and Platte <br />River Power Authority for discussions and insight into the present and <br />projected loads and resources of the integrated regional power systems. <br /> <br />The several consultants and subcontraotors who provided valuable input <br />into the study; including Dr. Al Stevens of Boulder on hydrology, Dr. <br />Kenneth Nobe and Mr. William Gardner qf Colorado State University on <br />agricultural economics and recreational aspects, Resource Consultants, <br />Inc. of Fort Collins on an inventory and description of the water supply <br />facilities in the Cache la Poudre Basin and their operation. <br /> <br />ix, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />
