THE. <br />FORECASTS HAVE MI ADDITIONAL SOURCE OF ERROR BECAUSE THE RESERVOIR MID TUNNEL OPERATORS MAY <br />SUBSTMlTIALLY DEVIATE FROM THE ESTIMATED REGULATION. <br /> <br />precipitation during October over the Colorado River Basin ranged from 120 percent of average for <br />the Animas River Basin to 340 percent of average for the Green River Basin above Flaming Gorge. <br />Basin precipitation for the upper Colorado mainstem, Green, and San Juan Basins was 203, 243, and <br />126 percent of average, respectively. The first two weeks of October saw a wet weather pattern over <br />most of the basin, while the last two weeks were dominated by a dry pattern. The first five days of <br />November were generally very dry with much below average precipitation over most of the basins. <br /> <br />**************************************************************************************************** <br />
