The damsite

straddles the Wyoming-Colorado state line with the right abutment of the dam in Wyoming

and the left abutment in Colorado. The reservoir would be constructed to provide water

for industrial purposes, thermal generation purposes, domestic and municipal purposes

and/or instream flow maintenance, recreation and other public or private purposes.

P & M filed on two reservoir sites with the Colorado Water Court (Sheep Mountain and

Three Forks) and one site with the Wyoming State Engineer (the Three Forks site).

P & M owns the following conditional water rights for Three Forks Reservoir and

Sheep Mountain Reservoir:

Colorado Decrees

Decree
Date

Appropriation
Date

"

Amount

1.

Sheep Mountain
Reservoir

t.

12-31.72

6-5-72

75,000 AF

2.

Three Forks
Reservoir

12.31-72

6-5-72

75,000 AF

Wyoming Permit

Permit No.

Appropriation
Date

Amount

1.

Three Forks
Reservoir

7619 Res

6-20-72

22,865 AF

3
