DWR is also in the process of <br /> <br />purchasing in place 98,005 AF of water currently in <br /> <br />groundwater storage in Kern County. <br /> <br />b. This water will be pumped and used by <br />the Kern County Water Agency (KCWA). a SWP contractor, <br />which wiil 'in turn release a portion of its SWP surface <br />supply ,for use by the other contractors.
