It will store flows of the San Juan River for irriga- <br />tion of lands in the Navajo Indian Irrigation project and for such <br />other uses as may be a~l;:iroved. It will also provide storage for <br />control of floods, and will enhance the fishing and recreational <br />values of the area. Facilities to be built by the Bureau of Reclamation <br />include the Navajo Dam and the 1,709,000 acre-foot Navajo Reser- <br />voir. Recreation facilities adjacent to the resehroit will be provided <br />by the National Park Service.
