The bUQY line, elOuth of the <br />unit boundllry line, will be set after the ice is off, and retrieved <br />before freeze up. Boating, water skiing, and wind surfing will be <br />prohibited north of the buoy line from 15 February w,til 30 September. <br />Swinmling shall be prohibited at all times eKcept in designated areas. <br />General provisions set forth in Chapter 9 (DiVision Proper'ties) of the <br />DlvtsIon of Wildlife regulations wi 11 apply. Under general provisions, <br />the area will be posted to control access and camping. <br />Year'ly work plans will indude conducting winter waterfowl counts <br />and spring nesting' surveys. An aPlIUa] report will be submitted to the <br /> <br />Regiunal Manager as to the results of such surveys, Recreation use <br /> <br />will b", monitored during the watel,.fowl hunting se<;l:>oo. The Regional <br />Manager or his designee will conduct an annual tour of the property. <br /> <br />There are several water related issues which ~emain unresolved at <br /> <br />the time Qf completion of this plan. Resolutton of the issues will <br /> <br />affect management of the area, but should not effect development <br /> <br /> <br />plans. Therefore, development can continue while those issues are <br /> <br />being resolved. Issues which remain to be resQlved to the satisfaction <br />of all parties relate to 1) storage of project water in San Luis Lakes <br />2) evapol'ation-seepage rates Bnd Bssociated replacement respons.lbil i ty <br />which includes location and operation of measuring devices on both San <br /> <br />Luis Lake and Head Lake, 4) operatiun of Head Lake Project well #65, <br /> <br /> <br />and 5) periods of water use and amounts at Head take, <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br /> <br />.......- <br />
