The attached materials from the <br />Bureau are self-explanatory. Please note, however, that the <br />attachments reflect the originally proposed study. The Bureau is <br />now proposing to scale back the initial effort to one which would <br />be limitell to identifying the availability of groundwater and the <br />impacts of its withdrawal on surface flows. The result would be <br />a special study report, not the traditional feasibility study. <br />The Bureau's full scalae, two-step planning process to identify <br />and evaluate project alternatives would follow only if sufficient <br />groundwater resources are identified. <br /> <br />WJM/bf <br />Attachments <br />cc: J.
