It also in- <br />volves floodplain mapping and the delimiting of inundation <br />zones. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Minimizing Flood Recurrence: any flood-lessening measure <br />as opposed to actions that attempt to accommodate flooding. <br />Examples include: dam safety and inspection programs; <br />streambank and channel clearing; slope reductions; and <br />debris removal. <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />Hazard Warning and Education: <br />ation plans and-activities-such <br />meetings and lenders' seminars. <br /> <br />includes warning and evacu- <br />as practice alerts, public <br /> <br />D. <br /> <br />Structural/Nonstructural Measures: any approach that <br />addresses the inevitability of flooding and offers a <br />degree of physical protection.
