The aline-
ment of the Pot Hook service canal_ plotted, acreages to be served were de-
termined, and 10 percent of the earthwork computations completed. Computations
on the Little Snake feeder canal were started. Studies were initiated to de-
termine the water supply available for diversion in the Little Snake feeder canal.
The. design flood study for Savery dam site was completed in rough draft form.

~unnison River Froject, Colorado

Tabulations of land acreages were completed. A general map for the
~~ison River Basin is about 30 percent complete. Various phases of the report
~~re coordinated with personnel of the Colorado River Water Conservation Board in
a series of conferences. Continued progress was made toward the completion of
the re port.

Smith Fork Unit. The balance of the water could be picked up at the mouth of the canyon
~nd used along the lower south side of the valle y. Line and profile on the pre-
~iminary location of the Basin Canal (Gypsum Valley) were extended 14 miles with
side slopes varying from 10 to 1 to 8 to 1 and with vel)' little rock excavation.
This line is being backed in from the lower end of Gypsum Valley on the south
side and will be designated as Basin Canal (Gypsum Valley, South Side). The
line on the other side of the valley will be called the North Side Canal. Eight
land classification sheets were inked and completed.
