Garfield County Commissioners report total <br /> <br />public and private damage of $493,000 resulting from May snowmelt. <br /> <br /> <br />A state contribution to Garfield County of approximately $200,000 <br /> <br />would be consistent with assistance guidelines previously used in <br /> <br />similar spring flood situations.
