The conbiued waters would be <br />transported !'rom t;,is point 6.5 miles to the enlarged Sugar Loaf Reser- <br />voir. The canal would enter t,~ reservoir through a saddle at eleva- <br />tion 9.880 feet. <br /> <br />The terrain to be traversed by the canal is glacial moraine and <br />should be suitable for unlined canal construction.
