A conal of 250 IIIlcond-foat oo.Po.city vlOuld convey the diverted we.ter north o.nd west 5 miles to the Tennessee Fork where a diversion dam at elevation 9,892 feet would intercept additional water. The conbiued waters would be transported !'rom t;,is point 6.5 miles to the enlarged Sugar Loaf Reser- voir. The canal would enter t,~ reservoir through a saddle at eleva- tion 9.880 feet. The terrain to be traversed by the canal is glacial moraine and should be suitable for unlined canal construction.
