<br />001091 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Under the stipulations contained in Senate Document 60, the capacity of Green <br />Mountain Reservoir may be assumed to be 152,OOO acre-feet. ~ simple annual analysis, <br />therefore, it may be concluded that sufficien-l; water supply accrues to the Blue River <br />below Dillon to annually satisfy the storage requirements specified in Senate Document <br />No. 60. <br /> <br />~lr Analysis <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />It is recognized, of course, that a r,tud:' based only on annual stream flows does <br /> <br /> <br />not contain operation refinements which s~ould be included in order to obtain a more <br /> <br /> <br />precise conclusion. <br /> <br /> <br />An analysis has been made of the monthly flows of the Blue River over the period <br /> <br /> <br />1936 to 1944 and with the follouing assu,:",ptiO:1S relating to stream operation:-- <br /> <br /> <br />I. That Colorado-Big Thompson may withheld or divert all water available <br /> <br /> <br />at Granby Reservoir except for by-pass required to satisfY senior <br /> <br /> <br />irrigation rig!lts and to satisfY the "live stream" requirements as <br /> <br /> <br />tentatively established by the Secretary of the Interior. <br /> <br /> <br />2. That Denver may divert up to the amo:lnt of its direct flow decree, or <br /> <br /> <br />788 cfs, whenever such quantities are available at Dillon. <br /> <br /> <br />3. That Colorado-Big Thompson makes repJ.acement releases from Green <br /> <br /> <br />Mountain Reservoir based upon the stipulations set forth in Senate <br /> <br /> <br />Document 80. <br /> <br /> <br />(a) Alternate:--fhat Colorado-Big Thompson makes replacement <br /> <br /> <br />requ:i..re:nents based upon fuUiLLing an additional decree <br /> <br /> <br />of 200 cfs for the ShoshonJ Power Plant, or replacements <br /> <br /> <br />based upon a required flolT at Shoshone of 14.50 cfs <br /> <br /> <br />inctead of 1250 cfs. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />,~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />-4- <br />
