Cedergren will provide <br /> <br /> <br />review of seepage analysis for the project. Mr. Cedergren <br /> <br /> <br />has over 3B years experience in the field of soil mechanics <br /> <br /> <br />and earth dam design. He is the author of the widely used <br /> <br /> <br />te"tbook, "Seepage, Drainage and Flow Nets" as well as other <br /> <br /> <br />te"tbooks and technical papers on the subject of earth dams <br /> <br /> <br />with emphasis on seepage and seepage control. Mr. Cedergren <br /> <br /> <br />has also been contacted and has agreed to participate on this <br /> <br />/ <br /> <br />proj ect. <br /> <br />TIME SCHEDULE AND COST ESTIMATE <br /> <br />From our preliminary scheduling, it appears that a draft report could <br /> <br /> <br />be ready for the CWCB's review within 8 to 10 weeks afcer receipt of a <br /> <br /> <br />notice to proceed. Another 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the length of <br /> <br />CWCB's review, would be required to finalize and print the report. Thus, <br /> <br /> <br />the project could be completed within 10 to 14 weeks. <br /> <br />We propose to aceomplish the work deseribed in this proposal in <br /> <br /> <br />accordance with our Standard Schedule of Charges--a copy of which is <br /> <br /> <br />enclosed as Attachment C. We estimate that our total charge for this <br /> <br /> <br />project will be $58,000.
