Alfalfa takes the <br />most water and requires but three applioations -- one for first orop, two <br />for seoond crop.) <br /> <br />Experienoe with Irrigation Farming in the Locality <br /> <br />Balanlle Sheet: Landlord-Tenant Operation: <br /> <br />The following is a balanoe sheet, composed from typic/3.1 f/3.rm plans of farm- <br /> <br />ers who f/3.rm on shares, for a l50-/3.cre farm, of whioh 120 /3.0res. areirri- <br /> <br />g/3.ted. and.40 /3.eres are dry pasture and range land. The yields and values <br />are similar to those in farm plans of rural rehabilitation loan files of <br />the County Rural Rehabilitation Supervisor and are substantially those used <br /> <br />by the /3.ppraisers in evaluating irrigated lands of the first quality. Few <br /> <br />farms in the irrigated part of the project area oontain so muoh fully irri- <br /> <br />gated land, and so small a portion of dry land. <br />
