A considerElble part of these <br /> <br /> <br />lands, ho~ever, while not irrigable because of location and conditions <br /> <br /> <br />of surfa.ce and topography, is cultivatable land ano. can be used for dry <br /> <br /> <br />farming to supplement adjoining irrigated units. <br /> <br />In all, 19,335 acres are estimated to be non-irrigable, of which only <br /> <br /> <br />a relatively small proportion is arable. Nearly all arable lands under <br /> <br /> <br />ditch or to be under ditch are also irrigable, and likewise nearly all <br /> <br /> <br />lands with surface end topography permitting of irrigation are arable <br /> <br /> <br />lands of good soil quality. <br />
