In light of the
staff's prior commlttme'nt" we have proceeded to process the
application and initiate the feasibility study. Thus". this
matter is brought before you at this time for informational
purposes only.

You should note that the district will probably seek 100
percent financing from the Board upon the completion of the
feasibility study, part of which may be requested in the form of
a grant. Thus" this project will present the same issues as the
Board will have already discussed under agenda items 7 and 8. I
will, of course, make it clear to the district that the use of
construction fund monies to pay for part of the costs of the
feasibility study has in no way obligated the Board to ultimately
approve of the project or of any particular financing arrange-
ments therefore.

JWM/gl

Attachments: as stated {n
-I/I4.II~/I\J'; AJen=: OML,/ C:;""A^""MeSA :Z;"'CC<M<=MTS 4-rr>lc_~ ,'Te(E:,

COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARe, Frederick V, Kroeger, Chairman
Robert A, Jackson, Vice Chairman' John R, Fetcher, Steamboat Springs
C,M, Furneaux, Walden' Floyd L.
