Ac- <br />cordingly, we, have the following situation. <br />(a) Eastdale Reservoir No. 1 Reservoir can draw water <br />directly from the Costilla River through Eastdale No. 1 <br />Canal, whIch is also known as the Costllls-Eastdsle No. 1 <br />Ditch. This reservoir can also draw water from the <br />East(lale No.2 Reservoir. <br />(b) &astdsie No.2 Reservoir can draw water' directly <br />from the Costilla River by means of Eastusle No.2 Ditch, <br />also known as the CostUla-Eastdale No.2 Ditch. This <br />reservoir can draw waterdirect~from ~~e Culebra River <br />by means of the Eastdale-Culebra No.1 Ditch, also known <br />as the CUlebra-Eastdale Canal., <br />When the 1905 decree of the COlorado court <br />was given, no attempt was made to award the Eastdale <br />Reservoirs priorities in acre feet. Instead, they were <br />awarded priorities in second fe8t~bas$d upon the direct <br />prioritle$ awarded to their reeder ditches as follows. <br />(a) Eastdale, No. 1 Canal 30 second feet; <br />(b) Eastdale No.2 Canal 20 second feet; <br />(e) Eastdale-Culebra No. 1 Ditch 25 second feet. <br />, The total of these three priorities, that is~ <br />75 second feet was awarded for the non-irrigation season; <br />but the decree expressly provided that during the ir- <br />rigation season the total amount ot water which should be <br />drawn ,by means of' all three clUlale should not exceed <br />48 5/8 secoUd feet or 48.625 second feet.
