The priorities set out in Table III were decreed
'by' the 1889 deer"R flt' -tl1.&-,Golorado Court and are on the basis
of one second toot ot water ror 40 acres or land.
In. the rOl'egoing tables oonsideration has been
given to the old direot rights rrom the Costilla River,
both in New Mexico and in Colorado. The next phase or the
development or irrigation rrom, the Costilla River came, as
hereinbefore mentioned, with the construction or the East-
dale Reservoirs Nos. 1 end 2, which construction was begun
in the yeer 1890. The water rights of these reservoirs
are covered by the Colorado decree of 1905.
Both reservoirs lie in the same depression.
Eastdale Reservoir No. 2 is the Upper or more easterly of
the two reservoirs, Each of the reservoirs has its own
intake ditch from the COstilla River; and, in addition,
Eastdale Reservoir :rlo. 2 has an intake froll! the Culebre
