The Cheney Reservoir on the Ninnescah <br />River will provide supplemental municipal and industrial water to <br />Wichi ta, Kansas and will provide downstream flood control. Maximum <br />drawdown of the reservoir is limited to protect fish and wildlife. <br /> <br />Table 2 lists existing hydroelectric projects in the Upper <br />Arkansas River Basin.
