<br />I\:) <br />~ <br />C!) <br />o <br /> <br />The remainder of the Colorado River Basin is included <br /> <br />in the Statewide Water Quality Management Plan which was <br />certified by the Governor on March 20, 1980, and condi- <br />tionally approved by EPA on June 7, 1980. <br />The Wyoming Conservation Commission, as the designated <br />management agency for agricultural activities, is develop- <br />ing a work plan for a study of the impacts of livestock <br /> <br />grazing activities on salinity and sediment in the Green <br />River Basin. The plan is being developed in conjunction <br />with the BLM, EPA, University of Wyoming and DEQ. <br /> <br />Forum Activities <br /> <br />Salt-Flow Relationships - Subsequent to the comple- <br /> <br /> <br />tion of the Forum's 1978 standards revision, it became <br /> <br /> <br />apparent that the mathematical model used in estimating <br /> <br /> <br />future salinities gave results that were too high when <br /> <br /> <br />comparing those results with recent historical trends <br /> <br />in salinity. <br /> <br />A study was undertaken to develop model <br /> <br />inputs which would more accurately reflect present <br />condi tions. <br /> <br />-32- <br />
