Fiscal Year 1981 funding <br />is $3,027,000. <br /> <br />Grand Valley Unit - Activities in Stage I of this <br />unit are progressing. The Operation and Maintenance contract <br />for the Stage I area between the United States and Grand <br />Valley Water Users Association was signed March 11, 1980. <br />A contract for construction of the field station was awarded <br /> <br />July 8, 1980, to Leon Parkerson for $363,000 and notice to <br />proceed was given July 9. Completion is expected by May 1981. <br />A $7.4 million contract for lining the 6.8-mile section <br />of the Government Highline Canal was awarded to Peter Kiewit <br />Sons Company on August 6,1980. Notice to proceed was given <br />August 11, 1980.
