During the fiscal year two permanent subcommittees 'of the Missouri
Basin Inter-Agency Committee were active. These subcommittees
are:

And the Standing Committee on Comprehensive Basin Planning was
created to conduct the Type I Comprehensive Study of water and
related land resources. This Committee conducted its activity
during fiscal year 1968 and will be active until the study is
completed.

In addition to the aforementioned subcommittees, the Committee,
as the occasion demands, establishes ad hoc subcommittees. There
were no special problems during the fiscal year that required the
appointment of an ad hoc subcommittee.

The activities and membership of the subcommittees are outlined
as follows:

EXECUTIVE SUBCOMMITTEE

Membership of the Executive Subcommittee of the Missouri Basin
Inter-Agency Committee consists of a representative of four of
the seven Federal agencies and three from the ten Basin States
on the Committee, plus a State representative from the States in
which the next two meetings will be held. The regular membership
for fiscal year 1968 was as follows:

Meetings of the Subcommittee were held prior to each Missouri Basin
Inter-Agency Committee meeting. The Subcommittee shceduled and
prepared agenda for future meetings. Their planning of meetings
also entailed the arranging of tours, dinners, and other activities
of the Committee.
