The maximum there, 39,400 'acre-feet, occurred during <br />1956. <br /> <br />The estimated canal water delivered to farm headgates was computed by <br />subLracting estimated canal losses from the historical 15-year record of <br />canal diversions. <br /> <br />The accuracy of the estimated acre-feet per acre of all water available <br />at farm headgates depends upon the accuracy of the estimated acres of irri- <br />gated land under each canal, the amount of surface water diverted, estimated <br />canals losses and the estimated amount of 'water pumped. <br /> <br />.' <br />
