<br />A connecting channel, about one-half mile long, will connect the ~Ain <br /> <br />Conveyance Channel to San Luis Lake. This will permit maintaining the <br /> <br /> <br />San Luis Lake level equal to that in the Main Conveyance Channel to <br /> <br /> <br />provide fish and wildlife and recreation use. This will also permit <br /> <br /> <br />temporary storage of salvage wsters in the lake when circumstances make <br /> <br /> <br />tbAt action desirable. The capacity of the connecting channel would be <br /> <br /> <br />158 ft3/"'. <br /> <br />The east .1ce cc'nvey,,-roce channel will be ,)ut 11 miles long, and would <br /> <br /> <br />collect the salvaged water fr01ll the salv2..":' areas lying to the east of <br /> <br /> <br />the ~in conveyance channel, and south of San Luis Lake.
